AccessLan

Polycom and AccessLan have a reseller agreement under which AccessLan will resell Polycom IADs and routers. AccessLan, a leading supplier of DSLAM equipment for Voice Over DSL (VoDSL) and Polycom , a leader in VoDSL IADs plan to deliver a VoDSL solution that integrates the Polycom NetEngine™ product line with AccessLan's PacketLoop™ I-SLAM.

Cisco

Cisco Systems and Polycom have a strategic agreement for joint development, licensing and sales of Internet protocol (IP) telephony solutions. Designed to deliver enhanced IP telephones to enterprise customers, this agreement combines Polycom 's leadership in audioconferencing technologies and Cisco's industry-leading expertise in IP networking and IP telephony. Cisco incorporates Polycom 's Acoustic Clarity Technology™ (ACT), the world's leading full-duplex, hands-free audioconferencing technology, into the Cisco New World IP Phone 7960. The Cisco IP Phone 7960 will include the "Clarity by Polycom™" ingredient brand mark when the speakerphone is enabled. Polycom ® and Cisco are collaborating to develop a new Polycom ® Voice-over-IP (VoIP) SoundStation™ conference phone, which integrates Cisco IP telephony technology. Polycom ® ACT technology is an integral part of Cisco's IP Phone offerings within the Cisco Architecture for Voice, Video and Integrated Data (AVVID).

FVC

Through an agreement with FVC, the leader in enterprise video networking, Polycom ® offers an FVC-integrated ATM videoconferencing package in its extensive global channel network. FVC bundles the Polycom ® ViewStation V.35 videoconferencing system and accessories with the FVC.COM V-Room switch as an H.321 room system package, which both companies market. Polycom ® also markets FVC.COM's industry-leading gateway, the V-Gate 4000, enabling Polycom ® users to conduct meetings between endpoints that support H.320 and H.321 videoconferencing standards. In addition, the two companies work together on interoperability testing for IP videoconferencing to help their mutual customers maximize the benefits of videoconferencing over a LAN.

Imation

Polycom ® has an agreement with Imation, global leader in product and service solutions for the data storage and information management, color management and imaging industries, for global on-site installation, warranty, and post-warranty service of Polycom 's award-winning ViewStation™ line of videoconferencing systems. By leveraging Imation's global service infrastructure and proven ability to consistently deliver first-rate service, Polycom supports its resellers in providing full-service, on-site installation and service for customers worldwide.

Jetstream

Polycom is providing Jetstream Communications, an industry leader in voice-over-broadband solutions, with Integrated Access Devices (IADs) that interoperate with Jetstream's leading broadband voice services platform. This agreement is the continuation of an OEM relationship that began with the first VoDSL trial deployments. Polycom 's NetEngine™ IADs provide eight POTS interfaces, an Ethernet data interface and WAN connectivity via field-upgradeable SDSL, ADSL, T1/E1 and ATM-25 modules. Jetstream's CPX-1000 broadband voice services platform, combined with Polycom 's IADs will enable Communication Service Providers to deliver high-quality voice service and continuous high speed Internet access to small and medium enterprises over the local copper infrastructure.

Lucent

Polycom and Lucent Technologies have a long-standing partnership in delivering high-quality broadband communication solutions. Lucent and Polycom have announced that they intend to jointly develop next-generation Internet Protocol-based conferencing products for enterprises and service providers. Under a strategic agreement between the companies, Lucent offers Polycom 's full line of videoconferencing and network products exclusively to new customers.

Microsoft

Microsoft® Windows Media, a popular format for digital media, is incorporated into the Polycom® StreamStation™ 3.0 streaming media system, which works in tandem with the Polycom ViewStation™ videoconferencing system and the Polycom SoundStation® conference phones. Polycom 's products enable customers to easily conduct ad-hoc streaming events, or create rich multimedia presentations for on-demand viewing. The StreamStation version 3.0 with Windows Media Technologies is available globally through Polycom 's extensive global channel network.

Nortel Networks

Polycom is providing Nortel Networks with Integrated Access Devices (IADs) that enable the delivery of combined data and voice services over a single DSL connection. Polycom 's IADs allow CLECs to expand their market reach and pursue small markets by leveraging regulatory enhancements such as line sharing. In addition, the ILECs can offer an affordable solution for mass market local loops they control. Nortel Networks and Polycom are also jointly developing conference phones that interface directly with the Norstar Communications System, requiring no analog line card or analog terminal adapter. The conference phones are manufactured by Polycom and sold by authorized Nortel Networks Norstar distributors.

RADVision

Polycom resells RADVision Inc.'s market-leading OnLAN family of enterprise networking products as part of a complete H.323 conferencing solution built around the Polycom ViewStation videoconferencing system. This agreement provides Polycom 's channel base with a comprehensive, end-to-end H.323 conferencing solution for the carrier, enterprise and small-business markets. Polycom offers RADVision's L2W-323 PRI and BRI Gateways and MCU-323 Multipoint Conferencing Unit, along with RADVision's embedded H.323 gatekeeper and RADVision's high-performance NGK-100 gatekeeper application for Windows NT® platforms, to its extensive global channel network.

Real Networks

Through a software licensing and distribution agreement, Polycom and RealNetworks™, Inc. have developed a streaming media-enabled conferencing solution that allows businesses to extend the benefits of multimedia collaboration to any PC on the global network. The agreement enabled Polycom to be the first conferencing company to provide products with global collaboration and connectivity via RealNetworks RealSystem™ G2, a leading Internet media delivery technology.

SightPath

Polycom and SightPath, a pioneer in the emerging Web content delivery market, have integrated the SightPath enterprise with the Polycom StreamStation streaming media. The SightPath solution is an innovative architecture that features a centralized Studio and "smart" Appliances that intelligently replicate and stream TV-quality media over existing data networks anywhere in the world, without local administration. A Polycom StreamStation attaches to a ViewStation videoconferencing solution to create the streaming content from a videoconferencing session. The SightPath studio then distributes content to the Appliances throughout the LAN. Requests for content are fulfilled from the closest Appliance, reducing costly WAN bandwidth and enabling the use of broadband media. Through this integration, customers are able to quickly and affordably create streaming media content, and automatically distribute live or on-demand broadband content throughout the enterprise with total control over bandwidth usage, while avoiding quality of service or desktop integration issues.
